Trevor Charbonneau - Owner/Funeral Director
Trevor has been a licensed funeral director since 2000. After working for and managing funeral homes in Toronto, Trevor purchased Newcastle Funeral Home in 2012. In 2014 he purchased Morris Funeral Chapel in Bowmanville and in 2017 he opened an Aquamation Facility out of the Newcastle location. Because of the increasing demand for Aquamation, another facility was opened in Whitby in 2023. Trevor is passionate about Aquamation and the benefits it affords the families he serves and the environment.
Kellie McKendrick - General Manager/Funeral Director
Born and raised in Ajax Ontario, now a resident of Orono. Kellie graduated from Humber’s funeral service program in 2011 and obtained her license in 2012. Knowing that not all families are the same Kellie takes pride in being able to work alongside families to provide unique traditional funeral services or a basic service a family may be looking for.
Joel Dodge - Hydrolysis Facility Manager/Funeral Director
Joel was born in Brockville and is now a resident of Clarington. He went to Humber College and obtain his funeral directors license in 2011. As a small business advocate, Joel is an active member in the Durham community. Inspired to make change and community growth, he is a great asset to our team.
Christopher Booth - Location Manager/Funeral Director
Chris is the Location Manager of our Bowmanville location, Morris Funeral Chapel. Chris started with us in 2022 and has extensive experience in the funeral industry in both family owned and corporate funeral homes. Living in Bowmanville, Chris looks forward to serving the community for years to come.
Kelly Prior - Funeral Director
Kelly joined Newcastle Funeral Home in 2017. She has been a licensed funeral director since 2012. Born and raised in Orono, Kelly is well acquainted with the community and looks forward to many years of serving families.
